New Zealand actress Michala Banas' career got off to a flying start when she appeared in her first television commercial at just 18 months old! Michala went on to play the role of Louisa Iredale in Mirror Mirror which earned her a nomination for the Best Young Actress Award in the 1996 New Zealand Television Awards before she launched her acting career in Australia.

Michala landed a role in Australian TV series Always Greener before coming to fame in the hugely popular Australian series, McLeod’s Daughters. Michala has also appeared in numerous other TV series including Blue Heelers, Neighbours and Around the Twist. Michala is currently touring Australia in the musical production of Avenue Q.
