
Multi-talented American actress, songwriter, and recording artist, Mandy Moore shot to musical stardom in 1999 with the hit single Candy from her first album So Real, going on to sell more than 10 million records worldwide.
With her popularity skyrocketing in the music world, Moore embarked on a successful acting career, hosting her own MTV talk show, starring in films including A Walk to Remember, Chasing Liberty and License to Wed as well as appearing in hit TV series Entourage, Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother.
Mandy has also been a spokesperson for the School and Youth Programs of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and was actively involved with Public Services International (PSI) charity to help fight malaria and AIDS in Africa as well as helping raise awareness of women’s cervical cancer through her work with the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation (GCF).
Mandy recently released a new album, Amanda Leigh in May, 2009.
